A French national, now living in Hong Kong, I was previously based in our London office where I joined Molten as one of its first employees in 2004 from KPMG. I specialise in Communications & Engagement, and have successfully managed large programmes for prestigious client organisations mostly in the telecoms and energy sectors.
After 7 years working for large international consulting firms, I felt that I wanted the challenge of a smaller, more dynamic and entrepreneurial organisation. I was recently in charge of the internal communications workstream of a significant transformational change programme for one of the world's leading telecommunications companies.

Privet! (Hello!) My name is Alena, and I am a Senior Consultant based in Molten's Moscow office. I specialise in organisation design and management development, strategic programme communications, and change management, particularly in relation to M&A or IPO issues. I have over ten years' experience of working with major international companies in Russia and overseas.
I joined Molten in 2006, coming directly from Grenoble Graduate School of Business (France), where I completed my MBA program. Before that I worked for AstraZeneca, the global pharmaceutical company, in both their Russian office and their headquarters in London.
I have recently been working on a project for a major Oil & Gas company to develop their main corporate communications brochure. My role has been to collect key data within the company, conduct interviews with the senior management team, develop the story board and manage the suppliers involved in the report's creation. It is a very challenging assignment, with lots of senior management visibility and tight timescales, but I am happy to run it.
One of the main reasons why I joined Molten was the entrepreneurial spirit of the ambitious and dynamic people which I appreciate very much. Also one of Molten's core services is change management and communications, and I am really a fan of them both! At the same time the things I really like in Molten are the friendly environment, team spirit and readiness to help one another.
Originally from Canada, I lived in Asia and Europe before moving to London to join Molten. Before Molten, I was in the energy and automotive industries, most recently forming an alternative energy joint venture in Beijing. I’m a professional engineer by training and have received my MBA from INSEAD.
While working in industry, I gained broad exposure to product development and launch, supply chain, customer care, off-shoring, IP protection, joint-venture and M&A due diligence, strategy and business planning and organisational design. I am a member of the Energy practice based in the London office, where I am focusing on Oil and Gas along with Alternative Energy.
For me, Molten presents a unique opportunity by offering the intellectual challenge and diversity of consulting while demanding business development experience and entrepreneurial flair as we grow the business. I ultimately joined for the incredible people and the unmistakable buzz when you enter the building. Molten is an exciting place, and I‘m looking forward to the ride.
I joined Molten's Financial Services practice in November 2006 from Deloitte, where I specialised in the development and embedding of Operational Risk Management frameworks in the banking sector.
Joining a smaller consultancy has enabled me to develop new propositions around my expertise, and provided me with added responsibility for business development and general business growth, which I have embraced. The management style also encourages employees to push themselves by providing the framework for entrepreneurial thinking and new and innovative ways of going to market.
I feel constantly challenged, and enjoy working with such a diverse team of driven and energetic people whose variety of skill-sets give me confidence that the business can grow from strength to strength in any market.
