Peter Salsbury
Non Executive Chairman
Peter Salsbury became the Non Executive Chairman of Molten Consulting in January 2011. He also serves as Chairman of TR Properties plc (appointed in 2004) and is an executive coach with Praesta Partners (from 2001).
Peter's extensive experience includes three decades at Marks & Spencer, culminating in the position of CEO (1998-2000.) His achievements as Chief Executive include introducing the 'Customers First' programmes, rebalancing product ranges as well as initiating a strategy review of supply chain and cost base leading to £640m in savings. During the 1980s, he grew the M & S Homeware business by 300% to £500m.
He has also acted as Non-Executive Chairman of NORWEB (1992-1996) and Deputy Chairman of Highway Insurance plc (2005-2009).
He has a BSc Honours in Economics from the London School of Economics and attended Bancroft's School in Woodford, Essex.

Phil Stunt
Non Executive Director
Phil Stunt became an NED of Molten Consulting in January 2011.
Phil is the senior vice president of IT and Client Delivery for First Data’s international businesses. In this role, he oversees the delivery of large scale conversion and implementation activities for First Data’s clients across both the Financial Services (FS) and Retail and Alliances (RAS) lines of business. He is tasked with transforming the delivery of these engagements in terms of predictability of execution, quality of solution and client satisfaction. Previously he managed the infrastructure in First Data’s Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), Asia, Pacific (APAC) and Latin America and Canada (LAC) regions.
Prior to joining First Data in December 2009, Phil spent five years working for Computer Associates as the International CIO, where he was responsible for running the internal infrastructure outside of North America.
Earlier in his career, he was an associate partner at Accenture, focusing on transformational IT and supply chain initiatives within the communications and high-tech sector. Phil began his career with Royal Dutch Shell, working in a variety of downstream oil engineering, trading and operations roles in places including Australia, Saudi Arabia, Germany and the UK.
Phil attended the Loughborough University of Technology (UK) earning BSc in physics and electronic engineering.

Iain Macdonald
Non Executive Director
Iain Macdonald became NED of Molten Consulting in January 2011.
Iain joined BP in 1979 and spent the next 30 years there, retiring early in 2010. On leaving BP he joined North Sea Oil and Gas independent, Fairfield Energy plc as CFO. During his career at BP he spent the first 10 years in engineering, licensing, project management and marketing management roles with BP Chemicals, followed by a second decade running a series of successively larger businesses in Chemicals and in BP Exploration. He then moved to the Group Centre in a series of Finance roles, as Head of Planning and Strategy for Chemicals, then the same role for the BP Group, then Group Controller, and finally as Deputy Group CFO for BP plc.
He was a non executive Board member of TNK-BP Ltd, and still serves as a director of BP Pensions Trustees Ltd.

Irene Molodtsov
Managing Partner
Together with Rory Colfer, Irene Molodtsov established Molten in 2003.
Irene is a Managing Partner of Molten Consulting and a Strategy Director of Molten Technologies.
Prior to Molten, Irene worked in KPMG Consulting (UK) running major ‘people’ transformation programmes for corporates across Europe. Prior to moving to the UK, Irene lived and worked in Hong Kong, also in the management consulting arena, delivering change for companies in Asia. Irene started her professional career in industry working for Pilkington in Australia where she was given wide general management training rotating through manufacturing, sales centres and head office. Irene’s functional areas of expertise include programme management, change management, strategic programme communications, organisation design and management development.
Irene’s sector expertise includes delivering IT/Technology related projects within the Energy and Telecoms space. She is skilled in leading and working with international teams, handling both strategic and operational issues.
Irene gained a Bachelor of Commerce (University of Melbourne) and Post Graduate Industrial Relations (University of Melbourne).

Rory Colfer
Managing Partner
Rory Colfer established Molten together with Irene Molodtsov in 2003.
Rory is a Managing Partner of Molten Consulting and the Chief of Staff of Molten Technologies.
Prior to Molten, Rory was the director of the programme management group of KPMG Consulting (UK). As a chartered accountant and a former CEO & Finance Director, Rory brings industry as well as business experience to consulting. Rory has led significant programmes from corporate strategy assignments through to the development of optimal organisation structures and post acquisition and merger integration restructuring. He is a performance coach and regularly coaches senior executives in London, Moscow and Hong Kong.
Rory has over 15 years of consulting experience.

Colin Frost
Partner, Global Head of Energy & Americas
Head of Molten’s Global Energy Practice, Colin is also head of the Americas region. He has more than twenty five years of experience in the oil and gas sector, and has led strategic assignments all over the world. He has a wealth of experience in applying innovation and technology to maximize the value of hydrocarbon assets, and is expert in applying deep technical understanding of the oil and gas industry to ensure success of strategic transformations and performance improvement programmes. Colin has successfully overseen diverse assignments including strategic asset reviews, petrotechnical data management strategy development and implementation and reservoir modelling capability transformation.
Colin has lived in Houston, Brisbane and London and spent the first ten years of his career at BP, where he received multiple industry awards from the Financial Times for innovative application of technology.

Katerina Brazhnikova
Partner, Head of Russia & CIS
Katerina has more than 10 years of experience managing complex programmes and growing small businesses. She works across Molten’s Organisation & People and Process & Operations disciplines and is building the Molten business in Russia, focusing on the Energy, Financial Services and Retail & Consumer Sectors.
Whilst at Molten Katya has led very large transformation programmes in major Oil & Gas and Financial Services companies. Her strengths include change management, communications and engagement, managing senior stakeholders, performance improvement and business development.
Prior to joining Molten, Katerina managed large scale strategy development projects and M&As for multinational companies in Russia. She spent nine years in the UK studying and working as a Director of Financial Corporation. Katerina has an MBA and holds two other UK degrees in “Accounting, Finance and Social sciences”, and “Strategic marketing and Human Resources Management”.

Andrew Zielinski
Partner, Head of UK & Middle East
Head of UK & Middle East, Andrew has substantial experience consulting to global organisations. He specialises in programme management, organisational restructuring, organisation design and the people elements of large-scale business transformations. He also has significant experience developing, implementing and managing operational improvement and cost-saving initiatives, and has led complex global programmes across industries, including Energy, Financial Services, Consumer Goods, Pharmaceuticals and IT.
He has a track record of successfully bringing together diverse teams to manage the transition to new organisational and operating models, ensuring their effective long-term operation and the realisation of lasting benefits.

Nigel Wright
Chief Financial Officer
Nigel Wright became the Chief Financial Officer of Molten Group in February 2011.
Nigel is a Chartered Management Accountant and a Chartered Engineer. He has worked as reliability engineer on offshore platform designs, a chemical plant maintenance manager, a controller of Oil and FX trading teams and was a Vice President of IT. Prior to joining Molten Nigel was CFO or FD of a number of Exploration, Refining and Chemicals manufacturing, marketing and distribution businesses. Nigel specialises in delivering business transformation programs including cost and working capital reduction, implementing systems and building finance teams to provide reliable performance management information and getting businesses into shape to attract new equity funding for growth.
